Here is a glimpse of a brother and sister session I did of Shannon and Andrew. The way they found me was through their cousin meghan d, who I just recently photographed. Her mom and their mom are sisters. These two were a blast to photograph. These two have a great bond, you can see it in these images.

I know Kyler’s parents very well, I photographed the night his daddy purposed to his mommy, their engagement session, their wedding, and now it’s all about little man KYLER. He’s a cute little almost 3 month old baby boy.

When doing any type of baby portraits I really try to encourage the parents to be in a couple of them. Here’s some images from their portrait session.

This was a session a long time coming, Debbie the mother was at a friends house in San Diego and noticed the portrait on the wall and the owner had her give me a call. We have been trying to get this session done for about year. Finally it happened, and it was all worth it. This session took place down in La Jolla, it’s a beach I’ve only been to a few times. It was a perfect night and the waves were HUGE!!!!

I’ve been photographing these girls for a few years, the last time was about two years ago. I can’t believe how much they have changed. They are not little girls anymore, but little ladies. These two are a joy and easy to photograph, they are naturals. This session took place at the Montage in Laguna Beach. Even though it was getting cold the girls didn’t show it.

Photographing animals always is a fun and learning experience. Photographing a huge horse with two young children puts a whole new spin on things. I’m going to show you some before and after photos with the girls and horse. I love digital photography because it makes manipulating images so easy and seem less. Their mother Heidi, did an awesome job of keeping Nugget in the correct position.

Here’s the original image right out of the camera.

Here is the final image. After some manipulating and retouching in Photoshop. I removed the hand, rope, removing the hair out of the eyes, and enhancing the overall colors of the image .

These two amazing children were so much fun to photograph. The more pictures that I took, the more their personalities shined through.

Kids being kids.

I forget sometimes, how literal and innocent young children can be. In this image I told them to look at each other and touch noses. I should of said touch your noses together. The parents and I got a quick laugh, when Lauren touch her own nose….

I love to see young siblings expressions when I tell them to look a each other and laugh. I usally get only one chance to get their reaction, this

was priceless. It just warms your heart.

For those who have children, this is the way it should always be.

The mom absolutely loved this image. The family loves this area where they ride their horses this meant a lot to her. I love the sepia tone.
