This wedding occurred at the grooms property in Pasadena. This was an AWESOME property, it was HUGE, it just went on and on and on. It was a great day, and most of all everyone had a great time.

Here’s a family portrait session at “Baker Park.” The reason we call it Baker Park because we are one of the very few photographers who use this area. Between my wife who is a photographer, along with my parents, it’s a rarity to see anyone else there. This is an AWESOME location. My style is just fun and relaxed. This couple found me through the groom’s uncle. I did their wedding a couple of years ago at The Baccara, in Santa Barbara. The family owns a little after market performance exhaust company called Magna Flow. Awesome product!!! Anyway, they had a two wedding ceremony day. One at St. Edwards, in Dana Point, CA, at 11:000 a.m. with just close family and friends. Then they had another wedding ceremony at St. Regis, in Monarch Beach, CA with about 200 guests at 4:30 p.m. It was a glorious day.

My friend Jeff Bush works for a sweatshirt company that does a lot of custom sweatshirts for many big surf, skateboard, motocross clothing companies. They came to me, to have me photograph a ton of different types of sweatshirts for their new catalog. We shot over four days and over 3900 images. Two of the models were my children, my daughter Camryn a.k.a momma bear, and Trey a.k.a little man.

Photographing animals always is a fun and learning experience. Photographing a huge horse with two young children puts a whole new spin on things. I’m going to show you some before and after photos with the girls and horse. I love digital photography because it makes manipulating images so easy and seem less. Their mother Heidi, did an awesome job of keeping Nugget in the correct position.
Here’s the original image right out of the camera.
Here is the final image. After some manipulating and retouching in Photoshop. I removed the hand, rope, removing the hair out of the eyes, and enhancing the overall colors of the image .

Another wonderful thing about photographing weddings, is babies. I want clients for life. Here is David and Sheila on their wedding day a little over a year ago. Fifteen months later their life has now changed forever, in the best way. A little bundle of joy from God named Juliana.
David and Sheila were married in Laguna Beach, CA.

I swear the older I get the faster time goes. Now my daughter is five, it feels like yesterday that I was doing the exact same pose with her. It’s so important to cherish these times, because we blink and before we know it there off to college….
